What you can build
The office is yours to build: walls, doors, floors, paint, desks, and decorations. The published path runs from a garage to a Headquarters. Furniture prices, room counts, and a required desk for each employee are not on the listing.
What to build first
The garage is the starting workplace in 2007. Use it to learn design, pricing, and launch. Desks matter once people are actually working in the office. Paint, extra doors, and decorations change the building. They are not described as a sales multiplier.
A reasonable split:
- Keep the garage until one phone has live sales and a review.
- Add the desks and doors you need for the team you hired.
- Move toward Headquarters when the phone business can pay for the build without stopping research.
- Leave a cash reserve. Automatic saving means a decorative spend is already kept.
What not to expect
The listing never says a prettier office raises critic scores or beats rival companies. Rival companies and new regions are separate goals, covered with Legacy and leaderboards. If you are choosing between a new room and the next research year, the research year unlocks tablets, watches, earbuds, foldables, or laptops. A room does not.
Auto-Hire's catalog line, empty desks fill themselves every month, is about staffing those desks. It is not a reason to fill the garage with unused furniture before the first phone sells.
